The international medical student series: Stories from a 2nd year medical student in the Caribbean

Hossam

Caribbean medical schools have gained a lot of popularity during recent years and have become increasingly attractive, and an alternative pathway of studying medicine in English abroad. These universities usually model their medical programs after American medical schools and allow their students the opportunity to practice medicine in the U.S upon graduation.

In this conversation I’ll be speaking to Neisha, a 2nd year medical student at the American University of Antigua, located on the island of Antigua in the Caribbean. She’ll be sharing her story of what life is like, being an international medical student in the Caribbean and how she shares her medical journey with others.
