The Wabash Global Health Initiative, directed by Eric Wetzel, provides Wabash College students with unique opportunities to learn about and engage in global public health through hands-on experiences and local, regional, and international partnerships. Notably, their international work in Peru gives students the chance to engage in programs such as "Corazones Excepcionales" (Exceptional Hearts), "Vida Sana" (Healthy Lifestyle), and "Creciendo Juntos" (Growing Together), working directly with local communities on public health initiatives, emphasizing community service and developing future leaders in the field.
